Ostatnio, w niezbyt długim odstępie czasu, byłem świadkiem dwóch plenerowych koncertów zespołu Lady Pank. Ale tylko za tym drugim razem nazwa zespołu i muzyka płynąca ze sceny była w pełni adekwatna, bo na scenie występował lider tej kapeli Jan Borysewicz.
Na pewno nie odkryję tu Ameryki, gdy stwierdzę, że koncertowo Panki tracą bez Jana Bo (fot. Onet). większość swojego potencjału. Wszak program ich koncertów zazwyczaj nie zaskakuje i składają się na niego największe przeboje kapeli – z naciskiem na ich prawdziwą kopalnię, którą stanowiła debiutancka płyta z 1983 roku.
Jednak brzmienie zespołu z Borysewiczem czy bez niego to niebo a ziemia. To co wyprawia na gitarze Janek jest bowiem niedoścignionym wzorem dla sidemanów, którzy próbują go zastępować podczas koncertów.
Określenia “niedoścignionym” użyłem tutaj nieprzypadkowo, bo żeby grać tak jak lider Lady Pank trzeba po prostu mieć jeszcze to “coś” podarowane przez Stwórcę. Nie wystarczy tylko nauczyć się wydobywania dzięków z gitary. Bo styl gry Borysewicza jest niepowtarzalny i wprawne ucho słuchacza bez problemu wychwyci różnicę, gdy tylko ze sceny popłyną pierwsze dźwięki gitarowego solo.
Dlatego należy żałować, że Borysewicz coraz rzadziej pojawia się na koncertach z Lady Pank. Ktoś trafnie podsumował, że bez niego na scenie występuje jedynie zespół Janusza Panasewicza, który odgrywa utwory znane z repertuaru Panków. I trudno w tym przypadku nie przyznać racji. Mówiąc krótko – bez Janka to nie ma granka.
